Il Basilico pizza review

Saturday night, we decided to go big and,using the Fork app, we booked Goya. It was close by and had great reviews. After receiving the text confirmation, we set off. On arrival, the restaurant was very busy and we were shocked to be told that our booking had not been confirmed and,in fact, the restaurant had sent a message to the app letting them know it had no available tables. I was less and less impressed with the Fork each time I used it.
We headed down to the sea front and settled on Il Basilico, a busy looking Italian (which would later be recommend by Jorge). We sat outside and the service was friendly and fast. We both ordered pizza, hungry after our day’s adventures.

E ordered the Dante while I had the Rustica. Both had a lovely thin, crisp base and generous toppings. 

A good find and close enough that we made it back before the rain started.
